What Is The Best CBD Oil For Pets

CBD Oil has many benefits for humans, as well as pets. Many people are surprised to learn that CBD oil can help dogs with a range of chronic issues when used correctly and from a reliable source.

The Effects Of CBD Oil For Dogs

Some people feel hesitant to five their dogs CBD oil due to concerns that it contains psychoactive ingredients. The concern arises from the fact that CBD oil comes from cannabis, a substance known for its psychoactive effects.

However, there is no need to worry since the psychoactive properties associated with marijuana come from THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is not part of most CBD oils. In fact, most CBD oils that you can find for your canine are made from hemp instead of marijuana, so THC is not present.

Why Give Your Pets CBD Oil

It Offers a calming effect when scary thunderstorms, vet visits, long road trips, new house guests, weariness from aging, and other stresses that challenge your pet. CBD is a non-intoxicating compound found naturally in hemp plants that interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS)

What Is The Best CBD Oil For Pets

After I personally evaluated both Green Roads and King Kanine by five samples of both to my Veterinarian he like the Green Roads product the best and King Canine was a close second place. The Green Roads products offered better 3rd party testing in his opinion. Each batch of these oils is tested by a 3rd-party lab, and the resulting lab sheet is made available to you via a QR code on the packaging.

Administering The CBD Oil For Your Pet

Of course, you should know the most common methods for giving your dogs CBD oil. In most cases, vets suggest administering it orally, although you can also find topical treatments.

New research shows that combining cannabis oil with traditional medicines can be particularly helpful for dogs. Unfortunately, more research is needed to figure out the proper dosage. The best course of action for pet owners is to consult a vet with experience treating pets with CBD Oil

  1. This is great information. There are so many brands of CBD Oil out there now, it’s hard to know what to choose. I like you have a vet’s recommendation for these. It seems like a Much better option for pain relief for them, since most often we can only get pain meds for pets when they’ve been hurt or surgery. This seems great for older dogs that have developed arthritis. What a humane way to take care of our pets. Thanks for the great article.

  3. Hello,

This is an interesting article until now I had never heard of CBD Oil being used for pets.

I saw that you only referred to it being used for dogs.

Do you know if it would work for cats? Although I do think it would be hard for you to dose your cat. Generally cats are much smaller so maybe measuring the does would be tricky.

Our much loved family cat recently died from cancer and I was wonder if this would have helped make his last weeks more comfortable.

    Best wishes,

    Cameron
