Does CBD Help Tinnitus?
Tinnitus is a condition that millions of people worldwide suffer from. Experts have not yet found the perfect cure.
Those who are affected by the condition should seek any treatment that is available.
This means that many people resort to CBD, which is short for cannabidiol.
First, let’s clarify what CBD is and how it differs from Cannabidiol.
CBD is a chemical compound found in Cannabis plants.
Yes, that’s marijuana and hemp. You don’t need to panic, as the CBD currently approved by law is extracted from industrial hemp.
CBD-based products on the market today do not contain more than 0.3% THC. This is marijuana’s substance that causes psychoactive effects.
Is CBD a good option for tinnitus? Let’s start by defining what tinnitus actually is.
What is Tinnitus?
Tinnitus can be described as ringing in the ears.
This symptom is common in people who live in a quiet room. However, it can become a problem for those living in noisy areas.
Tinnitus is a condition in which a person hears ringing in their ears.
Tinnitus does not necessarily indicate a disease, but it is a sign of an underlying condition.
It could also be due to hearing loss that is caused by aging.
This could be an indication of an injury to the ear or a problem with your circulatory system.
Many people suffering from tinnitus find relief after receiving a series treatments that target the root cause.
Tinnitus sufferers often describe hearing ringing in one or both of their ears.
The condition can cause other sounds in the ears.
Tinnitus can make a variety of noises. One noise could be a low-pitched squeal, while another may sound like a roar.
Sometimes the sound can be so distracting and loud that it affects a person’s quality of living.
While some people have tinnitus throughout their lives, others may experience intermittent onsets.
Pulsatile Tinnitus, one type of tinnitus, is another.
Tinnitus is characterized either by a loud, piercing sound or a rhythmic pulse that beats in sync with the heart.
A doctor might be able to detect this type of tinnitus in a patient who has undergone an examination.
This is also known as objective tinnitus. It is a form of subjective tinnitus which only the person experiencing it can hear.
People are now looking into CBD-based products to treat tinnitus.
We will get into more details about how CBD can help with tinnitus. But, if you are looking for high-quality CBD products now, you can go to this page instead.
How is Tinnitus Diagnosed?
Simply by identifying your symptoms, your physician can diagnose you as having tinnitus.
However, your doctor will first investigate if there are any other conditions that could be causing the symptoms.
Many times, there is no other cause.
Expect to be asked about any medical history if you visit the doctor to check for tinnitus.
Your doctor will also check your ears and head.
You will need to have a hearing and/or audiological exam performed during your visit to the doctor.
For this test, you will need to sit in a soundproof area and wear a pair of headphones that transmit certain sounds.
The questionnaire will ask you to identify when you are able to hear certain sounds. Your age will also be checked.
Four types of noises will be specifically asked.
It could be that your ear is experiencing clicking sounds.
High blood pressure is often the cause of pulsing sounds.
Low-pitched ringing may also be heard, which could indicate a blockage in the ear canal.

You will be required to perform certain movements in addition to a hearing test.
Your doctor may ask you to clench and move your jaw, eyes, neck and arms.
Your doctor may be able to identify possible underlying conditions if your symptoms change or worsen during the test.
Additionally,
Depending on the cause of your symptoms, you might also need to have a CT or MRI scan.
Lastly, expect to have some lab tests performed, especially blood tests. These tests will check for potential health problems such as thyroid issues, heart disease, and vitamin deficiencies.
Can CBD help with Tinnitus?
Despite promising research on tinnitus there has not been a cure.
Instead, doctors concentrate on strategies that patients can use to manage their symptoms.

Counselling and relaxation exercises are also effective.
Tinnitus sufferers most often experience anxiety.
This is why treatments often focus on the area.
Some medication is prescribed to patients for anxiety and insomnia.
They may be effective in some cases, but they can have unwanted side effects.
Recent research has shown that CBD ( high-quality CBD products can be found here) might provide some relief from symptoms of tinnitus.
It is important to ask how CBD can help with tinnitus.
Tinnitus sufferers are turning to CBD to treat their symptoms. This is because CBD has many similarities to neuropathic pain.
You may already be aware that CBD is effective in relieving pain from nerve damage.
A 2019 study in The Hearing Journal found that cannabidiol is effective in relieving anxiety and stress in people suffering from tinnitus.
They are constantly worried about how to solve the problem.
They are more worried that it will get worse and that they have no control over it.
Sometimes, these worries can lead to insomnia and then depression. While CBD can’t treat tinnitus directly, it can reduce anxiety and help patients relax.
This greatly improves their quality of life.
What is the Best CBD Product for Tinnitus?
No studies have been done to determine which CBD product is the best for tinnitus.
It is safe to assume that any CBD-based product you are comfortable using will work.
Because they are quick, CBD oil is preferred by most people.
CBD gummies are popular among others because they can be discreetly taken anywhere and anytime.
The most important thing about CBD products for tinnitus treatment is to ensure that your CBD comes from a reliable source.
However, not all CBD products on the market can treat tinnitus.
Many of these products do not even contain CBD.
For my CBD needs, Green Roads is the only company I trust.
I’ve been using CBD products for many years, and have also switched brands in the beginning.
What I love most about Green Roads CBD products is their commitment to high-quality CBD products.
Green Roads products are subject to rigorous testing to ensure they are safe and effective.
Full-spectrum CBD is the best option for treating tinnitus. Full-spectrum is the term that describes CBD products that contain all of the cannabinoids, beneficial compounds and industrial hemp.
Full-spectrum CBD products contain 0.3% THC.
You don’t need to be concerned, however, as this amount is within the legal limit. It does not produce psychedelic effects.

From your post, I may get to the conclusion that there’s no cure for tinnitus and CBD is a great help for people to cope with the awful symptoms they have. Traditional medicine should focus on finding the causes more than on getting a drug that most of the time just hides the real problem. Thanks for your very thorough and valuable review of the topic.
Keep safe!

I have suffered from Pulsatile Tinnitus in my right ear for years, with hearing loss. I can count on one hand how many times in the last 6 years that I have been able to hear clearly since it started. All of the tests I have had have not shown a cause. It is frustrating and depressing. Does CBD help with Pulsatile or only the tinnitus that causes ringing? I will seriously try anything to get it to stop or quiet down a little bit.
Thank you!
We have had great success with our customers using CBD Oil for Tinnitus.
