Can CBD Oil Get You High?

Can CBD Oil Get You High?

As the U.S. gets more used to CBD-based products, there are still many questions about CBD oil and cannabidiol. A common question about CBD oil is “Can CBD oil make you high?” CBD oil is extracted from Cannabis Sativa plants. This plant produces a feeling that is similar to being “high”.

Cannabidiol is an abbreviation for cannabidiol. It is a natural compound discovered in 1940 and one of the 113 cannabinoids in Cannabis plants. It is the second most active component of the hemp plant and accounts for 40% of all the extract. CBD comes mostly from hemp plants and not marijuana. Although marijuana contains CBD, CBD products on the market today such as those offered by Green Roads contain a lot more CBD than its cousin, the hemp.

CBD does not give you a high by itself. Here’s the solution. CBD and CBD oil do not give you high. The World Health Organization report should be reassuring if you are still worried.

It is stated that CBD doesn’t have any effects that could lead to dependence or abuse. The report also stated that there is no evidence to suggest that CBD has caused health problems.

Why is CBD oil so popular? The answer is THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol. They believe that CBD, which is derived from cannabis, will give users a high, as it is well-known for its ability to produce a high when smoked. This is not true. It’s THC, and not CBD that can cause this effect.

THC is found naturally in Cannabis, just like CBD. THC is absorbed into the brain through ingestion. It binds to neurotransmitters that are part of the brain’s reward system. This is when you feel a sense bliss. Another thing is that CBD is not derived from marijuana but hemp.

Both are Cannabis varieties, but hemp has 0.3% or less THC, while marijuana has more. You guessed it, 0.3% of THC isn’t enough to cause any psychoactive effects.

The treatment of inflammation and pain is perhaps the most common use for CBD oil and other CBD products. Many people use CBD oil to treat pain from conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia or a simple headache. CBD oil is known to have pain-relieving properties.

Research has shown that CBD can reduce pain by interfacing with the body’s endocrinoid system. The ECS, or endocannabinoid, is responsible for controlling certain bodily functions such as appetite, sleep, immune response, and pain.

This is probably one of the biggest questions on the lips of a whole number of people but as it is, that’s not really possible especially because there is a dosage to follow and even when a person overuses the thing, it doesn’t seems to have that effect. I guess the health department has put things in place to make sure that CBD is not suspectible to drug abuse.
