2020 Green Roads CBD Oil Review
The first question I would like to answer for you if one that you are probably already thinking. What qualifies me to do a review on the largest manufacturers of Healthy Green CBD Oil in the entire USA.
Being over 80 years old for starters, having lived through the 60s and one of over 400,000 people at the original Woodstock Festival August 15ththru August 18thin 1969. You can totally believe me when I tell you that I understand how to make just about anything that can made for the Cannabis and Hemp plants.
What Is CBD Oil And How Does It Work?
First of we aren’t referring to the Cannabis plant at this time. The CBD Oil and other CBD related products manufactured by Green Roads is from the Hemp plant where there is little to no Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, as it is what it’s more frequently called.
In addition, I have used it in my entire family and tried numerous other brands for the following: My wife’s Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) two Of my sons that are diabetic, my sister with Fibromyalgia, and our Grandson who was diagnosed with ADHD and for myself for back and neck injuries for years of martial arts tournaments.
Knowing things like extraction methods used, drying techniques, lighting, whether the plants are grown indoor outdoor or both, types of fertilization and the use of additives all have a definite impact on the quality of the CBD Oil or other products such as the very popular Gummies that are not available in various strengths as well.
Pure Green CBD Oil has a very earthy taste to it, the flavored CBD Oils have a more pleasant taste however, with every addition of a flavor or any other additive for that matter diminish the overall quality and strength of you CBD Oils, gummies etc.
The Three Most Common Methods of Extraction
1. Olive Oil extraction which is the oldest of all methods.
2. Solvent. Which in my opinion is the least desirable and sometime very dangerous method which involves the use of ethanol, butane, propane, isopropyl or alcohol to extract the CBD.
3. CO2 extraction which is definitely the best and only method that should be used. The Olive Oil and Solvent methods are used not because they are better, but because the cost roughly one tenth as much using as CO2 extraction method used by Green Roads.
There is one more extraction that is very seldom used and more and that is to extract with water. Well you all know how well water and oil mix together. With the water extraction method after being collected the mixture of water and oil is distilled so that the CBD Oil can be extracted for the water. This is called the steam distillation method and has been used for centuries for the extraction of essential oils.
Third Party Independent Testing Laboratory
I always insisted on my CBD Oil being third party tested by a reputable independent laboratory and that the product include QR codes on every product so I could verify the lab report right in the store before I made the purchase.
After personally review and trying numerous brands we haven’t found any brand other than Green Roads that was Pharmacist-Formulated and that includes CBD Oils, topicals, edibles, beverages and spa items.
Look for brands with a minimum of 95% CBD Oil. Green Roads is 99% CBD Oil with a 1% vegetable glycerin base. We had a customer come into our store a few months back complaining that he bought CBD from a local health store and it was not helping him one bit. I asked him if I could take a look at the label and it was 16% CBD and the remainder was Avocado and Coconut Oil.
Quite unfortunately the CBD Oil industry is very much unregulated, but it is getting better and Green Roads is miles ahead of the curve in the production of safe and superior quality CBD products.
I personally wouldn’t allow any of my family use any other product and believe me I have tried them all. Being in the CBD Oil business, we receive sample on a weekly basis from new companies all over the United States asking us to carry their products. As of this writing I haven’t found one that matches the purity and efficacy of Green Roads. In Fact Green Roads is presently doing a pilot program with the University Of Florida In Gainesville.
How Much CBD Oil Should I take?
This is a question we get at every sale and there is no direct answer this question since everyone has a different tolerance and we all absorb CBD Oil differently, since our bodies are all different. I recommend starting with 4 drops in the morning and 4 at night initially since Green Roads is such a pure product.
We have had people tell us they take an entire dropper full 2 or three time a day with little to no relief. My experience with Green Roads is that most people start to feel some relief with the first hour and it gets better from there.
How Do I Take CBD Oil?
How do you take CBD Oil is important to your success. Research has found that the best way is sublingual (under your tongue) which contradicts the older belief that vaping was best. Sublingual has been proven to be the ultimate way to take CBD Oil.
With that being said I have to tell you 2 very important facts that will dramatically increase your success with taking CBD Oils. First don’t take CBD on an empty stomach. It won’t harm you in any way but if you don’t have something in your stomach, the Hydrochloric Acid in your stomach will greatly diminish the effectiveness.
Second is hold it under your tongue for a Minimum of 2 minutes so it absorbs through the sublingual artery as you would with a Nitroglycerin or a vitamin B-12 tablet. This will give the best and highest absorption rate, also called CBD Bioavailability which is actually the amount that enters your bloodstream from consumption.
Where Is Your Hemp Grown?
Be sure you Hemp is grown in The United States and from A USDA approved farm. Stay with the state that have a track record in growing quality Hemp and Cannabis such as Colorado, California and Kentucky.
More than half the nation’s Hemp is grown in Colorado so that would be my obvious choice and great for our Founders Blend CBD Coffee.
Hopefully I have given you some insight as to what to look for in a CBD product. I feel we have done the work, so you don’t end up buying an inferior product. Feel free to do your own research if you wish and always consult with your doctor before starting a CBD or any other supplement regimen.
Thank you for reading my post. Please leave as many comments as you wish. If you have any questions about this post or CBD products feel free to contact me and I will get back to you ASAP.
